Week of June 16 - June 20
Nature Exploration - Ashley Lapp, Dock Alum; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Campers will enjoy the beautiful Godshall Road Campus while exploring the nature trail, running around on the playgrounds and crafting under the trees. Each day will be filled with many new outdoor adventures. Craft projects will use the items found on their daily nature walks. Don’t forget your magnifying glasses for the bug hunts!
Under the Sea - Michelle Lapp, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Campers don’t need to be able to swim for this underwater adventure. Each day will bring different sea crafts and water games. There will be tons of sea creatures and adventures to go with them. Maybe there will be a glimpse of a mermaid or merman!
Beach Bash - Matt Speck, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Don’t forget your sunscreen and towel. Campers will think they are on the beach while participating in various beach related crafts and games throughout the week. Beach balls will be flying and the smell of the ocean will be in the air.
Culinary Creations - Kipp Moyer, Past Dock Faculty; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - Campers will prepare kid friendly recipes that require minimal adult support. Each day will start with a fruit and/or vegetable taste test to widen a healthy food palette. This camp will facilitate further at home kitchen adventures. Recipes and a taste of what we create each day will come home daily.
Recreational Games - Jason Hackman, Dock Faculty; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - Campers grab your water bottle and sneakers. This camp will be full of energy and excitement as students engage in some old favorites as well as some new games. See you at the gym!
Fairytale Forest - Lauren Speck, Past Dock Faculty; ages 7-12; 8:30am-3:30pm - Bring your pencils and your sketchpads. Campers will craft their own stories using the Fairytale Forest as inspiration. There will be plenty of crafts, activities and games to help with inspiration. There might even be a gnome or fairy sighting.
CAL Sports Coed Basketball - CAL Sports Coaches; ages 6 -14; 8:30-11:30am - This co-ed camp is a fun-filled, action-packed experience for youth basketball players. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball such as passing, dribbling, and shooting. The CAL coaches will instruct and improve the athlete’s overall skill level as well as help boost their confidence on and off the court. Athletes will be placed in small groups based on their skill level so they can be challenged by their peers and receive the attention they deserve from each coach. This camp is great for beginner and intermediate-level players and is an experience you won’t want to miss! Campers should wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
Afternoon Adventures - Dock Camp Staff; ages 4-14; 11:30am-3:30pm - Each day will be a variety of activities, some of which may include - outdoor games, indoor games, crafts, computer time, reading/writing, and quiet time/recuperation time (after the sports camps). All campers should bring a water bottle, packed lunch, and afternoon snack. This camp is available only to those who are attending a morning camp during the week of June 16-20.

Week of June 23 - June 27
Circus - Michelle Lapp, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Are you ready for the Big Top? Do you enjoy the animals? The entertainment? The snacks? You will have that all at Circus Camp. There will be daily crafts and activities making campers feel like they are in the center ring. Come join our circus for the week.
Games - Taina Reyes, Dock Substitute; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Playing group games can be intimidating at times for our younger campers. This week of camp will provide campers with a chance to learn how to play some outdoor games in a kind and caring environment. There will also be daily crafts and a story time during this camp.
Sweet Creations - Ashley Lapp, Dock Alum; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - The pastry chefs, AKA our campers, will spend their week working with icing. They will learn how to decorate cut-out sugar cookies and cupcakes using piping bags and various cake decorating supplies. Grab your apron, the kitchen is calling you.
CAL Sports Coed Basketball - CAL Sports Coaches; ages 6 -14; 8:30-11:30am - This co-ed camp is a fun-filled, action-packed experience for youth basketball players. Fiber Arts - Casey Harper, Dock Alum; ages 7-12; 8:30am-3:30pm - This full day camp will integrate the best of both worlds, sewing and crocheting. In addition to the many individual projects, there will be a group quilting project. Campers will also take a trip to the Material Resource Center in Harleysville to learn about their Comforter Program. Grab your needles and hooks, the material and yarn is waiting for you.

KNEX - Tim Keller, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Campers will increase their knowledge in the field of STEM through investigations using various engineering and hands-on activities. Each camper will leave camp with an engineering kit for more exploration at home.
Skipping Through the Seasons - Cheryl Kulp, Teacher & Dock Alum; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Grab an umbrella, swimsuit, pumpkin and scarf. Take a trip through the Four Seasons during this four day week of camp. Campers will enjoy daily crafts and hands-on activities as they focus on a different season each day.
Cooking Crazies - Michelle Lapp, Dock Faculty; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - Do you enjoy cooking? Would you like to learn how to make food favorites? Campers will learn how to read recipes, measure ingredients, and cook some awesome food! Grab your apron, the measuring cups are waiting for you!
Recreational Games - Rachel Myers, Dock Faculty; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - Campers grab your water bottle and sneakers. This camp will be full of energy and excitement as students engage in some old favorites as well as some new games. See you at the kickball field!

Water Wonders - Mindy Gruver, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6, 8:30-11:30am - What better way to cool down in the middle of July than with water play and exploration. Be prepared to get wet each day as campers incorporate water into their crafts and games. Bring a towel, and come make a splash in this camp.
Christmas in July - Cheryl Kulp, Teacher & Dock Alum; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Christmas in July consists of all things Christmas! Cookie decorating, making fake snow, frozen hot cocoa, and gingerbread house decorating are just a few of our activities. Each day will have a specific Christmas theme. Grab your ugly Christmas sweater and join us for a whole lot of cheer.
Disney - Jessie Hophan, MCIU Teacher; ages 4-6, 8:30-11:30am - Campers will be doing many crafts and activities inspired by popular Disney movies. They will, also, use their imaginations to discover and create new characters to use in their crafts and activities.
Kitchen Concoctions - Danielle Camasso, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30am-3:30pm - Kitchens aren’t just for cooking. They can be full of opportunities for exploration and investigation. Campers will spend their days experimenting with different kitchen items to create playdoughs, putties and so much more.

Cal Sports Volleyball - CAL Sports; ages 9-14; 8:30-11:30am - Experience the excitement of our co-ed volleyball camp tailored specifically for young athletes! Our camps are filled with energy and enthusiasm, providing a dynamic environment where participants can learn and master fundamental skills like serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Led by our CAL coaches, athletes will not only enhance their volleyball abilities but also foster confidence both on and off the court. Our camp caters to athletes aged 9-14. Whether your athlete is new to volleyball or looking to refine their skills, our camp promises an unforgettable experience filled with growth, camaraderie, and fun!

Week of July 14 - July 18
Outdoor Adventures - Taina Reyes, Dock Substitute; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Hiking, stream-stomping and bug-catching are a few of the key ingredients that will make this camp fun for all. Campers have fun as they connect with nature and build upon skills and knowledge. We will guide your children in hands-on nature exploration and investigation, games, crafts, hikes and more. Your child’s favorite summer memories await!
Artistic Inspiration - Danielle Camasso, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30am-3:30pm - Let’s spend the week getting creative and exploring 2D & 3D art. Each day campers will explore different art materials and techniques for using those materials. Students will work on their fine motor skills while creating amazing works of art to take home and display.
Musical Camp HONK Jr.! - Mrs. Sam Brannon & Mrs. Kim Bergey, Dock Faculty; ages 8-14; July 14-18 (8:30-11:30am) and July 21-25 (8:30am-3:30pm) - Do you love to perform skits, act, sing, or put on a play for your family? This is a unique opportunity for your students to participate in a production of Honk! junior edition. IMPORTANT- Campers must commit to this camp for BOTH weeks Students will be cast into certain roles and learn their lines, the dances, and the whole play. The performance will be free for all to attend. A free final performance will be held on July 25th on the last day of camp.
Recreational Games - Rachel Myers, Dock Faculty; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - Campers grab your water bottle and sneakers. This camp will be full of energy and excitement as students engage in some old favorites as well as some new games. See you at the GaGa pit!
Rocketry - Tim Keller, Dock Faculty; ages 8-14; 8:30am-3:30pm - Each morning, campers will work on designing and building his/her own water powered rockets. A 2 liter bottle will be the base for this project. Campers will have a chance to experiment with their rockets outside in the fields. The afternoon will be used to build rockets from kits. This camp will take us to new heights.

Crafting Creations - Megan Landis, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Popsicle sticks, cotton balls, clay, beads, and so much more! Students will work on their fine motor skills to create masterpieces from scratch. Make room on the refrigerator for all of the works of art that will be coming home. The sky’s the limit with this camp!
Christmas in July - Michelle Lapp, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Christmas in July consists of all things Christmas! Cookie decorating, making fake snow, frozen hot cocoa, and gingerbread house decorating are just a few of our activities. Each day will have a specific Christmas theme. Builders & Engineers - Danielle Camasso, Dock Faculty; ages 4-6; 8:30am-3:30pm - How high can we go? The sky’s the limit at this camp. Campers will spend their days designing and building various projects. Materials might include blocks, KNEX, spaghetti and cardboard rolls. Story time, arts & crafts and group games will tie into the theme of engineering. Grab your tool belt, we’ve got the blue prints.
Book Club - Magical Creatures - Kim Pavia, Dock Parent; ages 7-12; 8:30-11:30am - Let's journey to a faraway place in a faraway land. Join us in exploring some of our favorite adventures, heroes, fairy tales, and mystical stories. Campers will explore enchanted themes such as generosity, integrity, honesty, and courage. Each day time will be spent reading, writing, and exploring through art, drama, and music. Come join us on this journey.
Cooking Around the World - Miss Casey Harper, Dock Alum; ages 7-12; 8:30am-3:30pm - Calling all cooks! You will be transported to kitchens all over the world! Campers will learn how to cook various dishes from all areas of the world. Each day will focus on a different country and its diverse culture. A camp cookbook will be created with the fun recipes sampled during the week. Campers will even take a trip to a local market to purchase their ingredients.

A half day of adventure games is the perfect complement—outdoor games like Capture the Flag, Manhunt, Mission Impossible, and water games as well as indoor options such as dodgeball, obstacle courses, laser tag, and more. We’ll also use our time this week to build character and help young campers make good decisions on and off the field—because Upward knows that life is more than a game. Campers should wear sneakers and bring a towel, water bottle and change of clothes. Campers should also pack a lunch.

Crafting Creations - Michelle Lapp, Dock Faculty; age 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Popsicle sticks, pom poms, ribbons, and more! Campers will explore the colorful world of crafts while developing their fine motor skills. There will be a chance to explore different textures and supplies each day. There will be games and stories sprinkled throughout the morning. Come see which materials you like the best.
Story Land - Taina Reyes, Dock Substitute; ages 4-6; 8:30-11:30am - Each morning campers will begin their day listening to a popular child’s book. The campers will participate in various crafts, games and activities related to those books. If your camper enjoys books about pigeons, ducks, piggies and a cat in a hat, this might be the camp for them.
Pets - Jessie Hophan, MCIU Teacher; ages 4-6; 8:30am-3:30pm - Dogs. Cats. Rabbits. Lizards. Do you own one of these pets or wish you did? Come spend time learning about different pets through crafts, stories and games. Each day will be a different experience. A few pets might make their way to camp this week.

This camp will include many nature-related activities as well as just having fun! Campers will explore different ways to use nature in crafting as well as enjoying the summer weather playing games outdoors. Come spend time enjoying God’s beauty.
Hercules, Cinderella, and Dogman - Kipp Moyer, Past Dock Faculty; ages 7-12 ; 8:30am-3:30pm - Campers will take inspiration from Greek Mythology, Fairy tales, and current children’s literature to write their own stories. In the morning, campers will strengthen their writing muscle with a variety of prompts & quick writes, mini lessons on writing techniques and structured peer sharing. The afternoon time will give campers a chance for creative center time to develop dioramas, mood boards and much more. Start your brainstorming now.
Zoology - Casey Harper, Dock Alum; ages 7-12; 8:30am-3:30pm - Do you love animals? Have you ever dreamed about working in a zoo? This might be the camp for you. Campers will spend their days engaged in various types of activities relating to animals. The week will end with a day trip to the Elmwood Park Zoo.

Basketball Camp - Dock Boys Basketball Head Coach Mike Fergus and his assistants, Girls Basketball Head Coach Don Sobetsky; June 30-July 3; 10:30am-1:30pm; Boys and Girls ages 10-15 - Come learn the game of basketball or take your game to the next level in our beautiful Longacre Gym under extremely experienced Dock Varsity Head Coach Mike Fergus (over 650 career wins), his assistant coaches, and Girls Basketball Head Coach Don Sobetsky. Camp will consist of technique instruction, drills, games, and motivational speakers.

Coach Kirby King has been a Dock Varsity Coach for over 20 years and Coach Logan Hunsberger is a Dock Volleyball Alum who played at a high level in college. Coach King and Hunsberger will teach skills like passing, footwork, serving, hitting, and blocking. All volleyball experience levels are welcome!
