Theater

Lights! Camera! Action!

Theater is one of the most satisfying and FUN things you can do at Dock—give it a try!

Dock Theater encourages students to experience the art of drama, including its ability to enhance our understanding of the human condition, appreciate literature, develop communication and acting skills, increase self-confidence, build faith, and strengthen community. Through the use of these skills we seek to continuously challenge ourselves creatively while nurturing the faith, self-worth, and friendships of our students.

Looking back on my high school years, I feel blessed to have been part of a wonderful theater program that taught me so much about performing, myself, and my faith. Blessed to have had an education that taught me invaluable lessons, while surrounded by a caring faculty.

Elementary Theater

Students in grades Kindergarten - Grade 4 have the opportunity to perform a musical in December. It is a performance which includes dramatization and small and large group musical numbers emphasizing a biblical theme.

Middle School and High School Theater

Middle and High School students have the opportunity to participate in annual drama and musical productions on each campus. Students work with our directors after school in anticipation of multiple public presentations. Students who have interest in behind the scenes activities are invited to share their audio/video talents as well.
