Arts Day

Celebrating the Arts

When people ask what is different about the Dock high school experience, Arts Day often rises to the top of the list.

Arts Day is a day to celebrate students' God-given talents and abilities.  We want to recognize and share the gifts God has given, to celebrate the arts within the Dock community, to give students the opportunity to perform on stage, and to demonstrate technical skill and creativity with excellence.

The theme for Arts Day 2025 was "Once Upon a Time"!  Students competed in a cross-grade competition consisting of stage performances and creations in culinary, creative writing, fabric arts, photography, and visual arts that connected to this theme.

Congratulations to the senior class for taking first place overall!  Thank you to our guest judges and to all that worked hard on and off the stage to help make this day a success.

She is strengthened by all things handmade, internationally artistic, and multicultural. Bonnie has been creating clothing since age nine, and worked as a pattern maker and seamstress, professionally. Bonnie has enjoyed teaching the art of sewing to youngsters for many years. Bonnie's other big interests are swimming daily, writing a memoir, cooking, sewing, gardening, reading, and being thankful to God daily for an incredible life!

Mike’s business started with video in 2004. He transitioned from video to photography in 2006. He loves shooting video again alongside his photography.
