Athletics
The athletic programs are a remarkable part of the learning experience at Dock Mennonite Academy. Student-athletes excel both on the field and in the classroom, with many going on to participate in sports at the collegiate level.
At Dock, being an active participant on a team is an opportunity made available to any student who is interested. We believe the values learned through sports—work ethic, sportsmanship, teamwork, pride, respect, overcoming adversity—are important for all students to learn.
Dock Mennonite Academy’s teams participate in the Bicentennial Athletic League (PIAA District 1), a conference that endorses academic excellence alongside competitive athletics. Dock also plays a highly competitive non-league schedule, competing against other private and public schools from surrounding counties.
Our coaching staff, in partnership with parents, work together to develop the abilities of each student-athlete and ensure they have a successful team experience, in addition to training hard to win. Beginning with a prayer before each game, there is an unparalleled camaraderie that occurs on our teams, transcending any differences that may be present off the field.
Pioneers in the News
The girls soccer team secured their second State Championship in program history in November 2024. By claiming the 2024 PIAA Class 1A girls soccer title, they join the 2003/2004 boys soccer and 2005/2006 boys baseball teams as the only programs in school history to achieve consecutive state titles.
