Where Community Happens

Chapels at Dock Mennonite Academy seek to nurture understanding of, faith in, and response to the call of Jesus.

As a community rooted in Christ, we invite all to engage in a relationship with God our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer through worship, learning, and sharing. Together, we aim to follow Jesus in living out the greatest commandments of loving God and others with our whole self.

Part of what makes Chapel so meaningful is the act of gathering together as a school so consistently. When we gather, we get to focus on spiritual nurturing, community building, and topics that are much bigger than just ourselves. Even when we all share a moment of laughter together, we become closer.

"It is the most valuable part of my day."

Adelyn Clemmer ('24)(second from right in photo), was an active member of Chapel Committee and believes it was one of the most shaping experiences for her as a student at Dock. “Chapel was the most valuable part of my day. It is a time when the Dock community can rest, reflect, and remember how supported they are by their teachers, peers, and God.”
