Service Day
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace…”
—1 Peter 4:10
The hands and feet of Christ
Dock students and faculty scattered across the region on Friday, September 30, for our 2018 Service Day, volunteering more than 2,000 hours of service at nearly 30 local agencies.
Groups of students cleared, chopped, cleaned, organized, visited, sorted, painted, mulched, dug, raked, weeded, planted, harvested, and much, much more. A huge thank you to every student and faculty member who worked and served, and especially to Dr. Anabella SilverMoon, the faculty coordinator for Service Day, and to Mike Landis for these great photos!
