Freshman Orientation

Building Community from Day One

Freshman Orientation is a Dock tradition for new 9th grade students at the beginning of the school year. The day is all about having fun and getting to know classmates.

Students meet in advisor groups (about 12 to 14 students) to play games, go on a campus-wide scavenger hunt, eat a picnic lunch outside, and learn about the opportunities available to them inside and outside the classroom at Dock. It's just one way we work to build community on campus from Day One.
