VAPING

The incidence of cigarette smoking has decreased among students in Montgomery County, but the use of vaping—sometimes perceived as a "safer, healthier" alternative to smoking—has increased dramatically.

David Fialko made a presentation on vaping to faculty and staff a few weeks ago during a faculty in-service. The response was overwhelmingly favorable, and the school asked him back to present to students. Dock held a special convocation on Monday, February 4, to educate students on the realities of vaping.
