Dock Mennonite Academy celebrates junior Eliza Qiu, who recently earned 1st place at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) regional competition held at Souderton Area High School. By placing first at regionals, Eliza has qualified for the PJAS state competition at Penn State University in May.

When Eric (Dogyung) Kim, a student from South Korea, joined Dock Mennonite Academy in his sophomore year, he brought with him a curiosity about creativity and storytelling that would steadily grow into a clear artistic voice. That voice recently helped him earn acceptance to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, one of the nation’s most prestigious film schools.

Starting in the 2026–27 school year, every student in Pennsylvania will be required to take a financial literacy class before graduation. At Dock Mennonite Academy, this is nothing new.
