Non-Sports Camps

3-2-1 Blast Off!

AGES 4-6, Cheryl Kulp, Dock alum and teacher

Spend a week with us exploring outer space through books, crafts, hands-on activities, and more!


After Sports Camp Care


Each day will be a variety of activities, some of which may include outdoor games, indoor
games, crafts, computer time, reading/writing and quiet time/recuperation time (after the
sports camps). A $35 discount will be applied for registration of a full week.


Afternoon Adventures

Each day will be a variety of activities, some of which may include indoor games, outdoor games, crafts, computer time, reading/writing and quiet time/recuperation time (after the sports camps).


Animal Adventures

AGES 5-8, Tanya Frankenfield, Dock Staff

Let’s spend a week learning more about our animal friends! Each day we will learn about a different group of animals, from the farm to the jungle to the woods, ocean and the desert. New adventures await each day!


Around the World

AGES 4-6, cheryl kulp, DOCK alum and TEACHER

Campers will travel the world and learn about Mexico, China, France, Kenya, and Russia. Each day we will do crafts, cook food, play games, and read stories from a different from country.


Come Craft With Us!

Let’s spend the week getting creative, each day we will learn to make new and exciting crafts together. A whole week of creating our own fun!                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Creation Station                       

ages 4-6, Mattea Ruth, Dock Alum and Teacher       

Campers will learn about the seven days of creation through engaging activities, games, and crafts. Each day will have a different theme, learning about the days of creation in chronological order. If your children love to create and learn about the Beginning, then this is the camp for them!                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Creative Arts Camp                  

ages 8 - 14, Kim Bergey, Dock Faculty

Let’s explore making 2-D and 3-D art forms. We will experiment with dying fabrics, creating sculptures, using Model Magic and more. It’s going to be an awesome week to get your hands busy and messy creating some amazing art pieces! A $10 supply fee is added to the camp cost.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Culinary Creations                    

ages 9 - 14, Kipp Glass, Dock Faculty

This week will immerse ourselves in everything culinary. We will build a repertoire of delicious food that we can make with minimal adult assistance, develop our kitchen safety skills, and understand what it means to have a balanced diet. A cookbook of recipes will be our souvenir of our week of Culinary Creations so we can make them for others at home. A $10 ingredients/supply fee is added to the camp cost.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Dock’s Amazing Race                

ages 7 - 14, Claire Wanamaker, Dock Faculty

Can you work with a partner? Are you good with teamwork? Do you like puzzles, mental or physical? This camp will need campers good with physical challenges as well as campers who excel in mental challenges. Come join a team. Will your team make it to the end of the race first?                                                                                                                                                                  

Dock’s Got Talent                     

ages 7 - 14, Claire Wanamaker, Dock Faculty

Are you a singer? Dancer? Magician? Comedian? Start each day with a variety of different drama activities. Try your hand at costume designing. Create a song. Write a music piece. Step outside of your comfort zone. Be part of our show on the last day of camp.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Exploration with STEM/STEAM             

ages 7 - 10, Cheryl Kulp, Dock Alum and Teacher         

STEM/STEAM brings Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), and Art (STEAM) to  children in a fun and challenging way. This camp will build upon their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

It's a Mystery!              

ages 10 - 14, Mattea Ruth, Dock Alum and Teacher

Are you a problem solver? Can you think outside the box? This week will be filled with a wide variety of puzzles, mazes and missions to solve. Bring your thinking cap!                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

K’NEX Challenge                       

ages 7 - 14, Claire Wanamaker, Dock Faculty           

Problem Solving. Creativity. Engineering. Critical Thinking. These are just a few of the skills campers will need to complete the daily K’NEX challenges that await them. A K'nex kit will be provided, with the cost included in the camp fee.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Let's Go Camping!                    

ages 4 - 6, Laura Almond, Dock Staff                  

Have you ever been camping? This is great for the children who have camped before and for those who have never been camping! Bringing the experience to them! We will be going on a nature walk, making natural creations, flashlight reading and so much more.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Match Point: Beginner Tennis               

ages 9 -14, Cody Powis, Dock Staff and Dock Tennis Coach            

Come explore the game of tennis with Coach Cody! Learn the basics and play games to help build your skills and love of the game. After this camp, you may be ready to challenge Mom or Dad!                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Once Upon An Adventure                     

ages 7- 10, Rachael Grim, Dock Faculty                      

Fee Fi Fo Fum, join us as we read some of our favorite adventures, heroes, and fairytale stories! We’ll explore common themes such as kindness and courage. We’ll spend some time each day writing our own tales. We’ll also explore these stories through drama, art, and music.                                                                                     


Rockin' Recreation                   

ages 7 - 14, Jayne Longacre, Dock Faculty                 

Games, games, games! Come and join in the fun playing your favorite active games from PE class! Examples: prison dodge, medical doctor, go for the gold, diamond mine, pirate ship, and more.                                                                                                                                                       


Science Experiments You Can Eat (But Should You?)           

ages 7 - 9, Livia Wiley, Dock Parent and Chemical Engineer           

Think science is only for a laboratory? Not in this camp. Here you will learn some basic concepts of matter (density, viscosity, etc.), as well as, some chemical processes (absorption, filtration, reactions) through experiments you can eat. And some where you might want to reconsider! Let’s make some edible slime, explode some film canisters, and race a Diet Coke-Mentos car. A $10 supply fee is added to the camp cost.


Soaring through Space             

ages 7 - 10, Natalie Slick, Dock Faculty          

Calling all astronauts!  It's all about space and the solar system! Spend a week exploring with different space activities and "train" to be astronauts!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

STEM Challenge: Oceanography            

ages 7 - 14, Claire Wanamaker, Dock Faculty                    

Campers will dive deep into the different zones of the ocean. There will be daily ocean STEM challenges. Campers will look at marine life and their habitats, examine tide pools, learn the different layers of the ocean, investigate beach erosion, stop an oil spill, explore water density, and so much more. A $10 supply fee is added to the camp cost.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

STEM Challenge: Space Race                 

ages 7 - 14, Claire Wanamaker, Dock Faculty        

Campers will launch into daily space challenges. They will look at constellations. Go on a space lander mission. Compete in an astronaut docking challenge. Make astronaut ice cream. Work with forces in a lunar crater challenge. It will be hard for these campers to keep their feet planted on the ground. A $10 supply fee is added to the camp cost.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Summer with Seuss                  

ages 4 - 6, Laura Almond, Dock Staff                 

Sneetches and Horton and Whos...Oh My! It’ll be a rhyming good week exploring all that Dr. Seuss has to offer! Every day, campers will hear a different Dr. Seuss book and embark on a wild adventure. Activities may include scavenger hunts, Seuss crafts, puppets—the list goes on and on…                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Travelin' through the U.S.

We're going on a road trip!  How many states can we visit in a week? Buckle up, it's going to be an awesome adventure!

Come and explore the ocean with us. Let’s learn about all the creatures of the sea while playing games, making crafts, and having a splashing good time!   

Sports Camps

All sports camps are coed and led by Cal Sports coaches

CAL Sports Coed All-Sports

ages 6 - 14, July 6 - July 10              

This camp is for young sports enthusiasts who are active and would like to try a variety of sports.  Multi-Sports includes dodge ball, baseball, flag football, soccer, and basketball. Additional sports may be added based on our participants selections. This fun and energetic program will help players learn about each individual sport. Participants are grouped by skill and age to maximize the opportunity to develop player skills.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

CAL Sports Coed Basketball

ages 6 - 14, July 20 - 24

This camp is a fun-filled, action packed experience for youth basketball players. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball such as passing, dribbling, and shooting. The CAL coaches will instruct and improve the athlete’s overall skill level as well as help boost their confidence on and off the court. Athletes will be placed in small groups based on their skill level so they can be challenged by their peers and receive the attention they deserve from each coach. This camp is great for beginner and intermediate level players and is an experience you won’t want to miss!                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

CAL Sports Coed Soccer

ages 6 - 14, June 22 - 26/AM

This program focuses on learning the fundamental soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive environment in which your child will be excited to learn. The program will gradually progress from dribbling to game type scenarios throughout the week. Your child will get a "KICK" out of this camp!                                                                                                                                                                                                        

CAL Sports Coed Volleyball                   

ages 8 - 14, July 13 - 17

Come and learn the fundamentals of volleyball—passing, setting, hitting and serving! As the days progress, coaches will incorporate these skills through serve receive, offensive and defensive drills and gameplay to pinpoint their importance in the game of volleyball. By the end of the session, players will have a basic knowledge of how to pass, set, hit and serve. Players will also obtain a foundation on the rules of the game and positions on the court. This co-ed camp is great for beginner to intermediate level players.                                                                                                                                                                                               

CAL Sports Explorers

ages 4 - 5, June 29 - July 3

The Sports Explorers Program teaches children the fundamentals of motor skills. Children will build confidence, learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship while exploring the basic athletic abilities.  This is a great opportunity for children to learn a variety of sports to determine which sport they love best.

CAL Sports Academy Camps

Cal Sports believes all players need to be well-rounded in every aspect of the mind, body, and soul. Through the instruction of our coaches, players will learn teamwork, communication, listening, and leadership, to help advance players to be the best they can be both on and off the court. Your player may come in with the basics, but will leave with skills that will last a lifetime.

Supplies needed for sports camps

All Sports: sunscreen & water bottle are recommended.

Coed Basketball: water bottle

Coed Soccer: sunscreen & water bottle are recommended (+ shin guards for older campers).

Coed Volleyball: knee pads and water bottle

CLEATS are not required for any of the sports camps. If your camper wears cleats, indoor shoes are required also (slides or sneakers). In the event of rain, sneakers are needed for indoor activities. Cleats cannot be worn indoors.
