HOAGIE DAY 2020
Wednesday, March 4
Hoagie Day is an annual fundraising event open to all Dock families! We ask each family to sell Hoagies, Soup, Cookies, Wawa & Landis Hoagie Coupons, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Rita's Water Ice coupons, and Moyer Specialty Foods Trail Mix during the first two weeks in February. Our BIG event occurs on the first Wednesday in March when we assemble thousands of hoagies for families to deliver to family/friends as well as to enjoy themselves. On Hoagie Day, younger classes enjoy visiting our elementary gymnasium to see hoagie assembly in action. Some of our older students also like getting involved by volunteering during a class period that day to help assemble hoagies. We need your help that day as well, in order to assemble this volume of hoagies! We welcome parents, grandparents, family and friends to join our school community in making this special day happen by volunteering for this event.

PRIOR to Hoagie Day
- Package the homemade soup at the high school campus in mid-February
- Help weigh turkey and package cookies on Tuesday, March 3.
- Bring baked goods for our volunteers to enjoy.
ON Hoagie Day (Wednesday, March 4)
- Help unload the truck starting at 5:30AM
- Hoagie assembly (starting at 6:00 AM ) Be part of the largest hoagie assembly line on the planet!
- Order fulfillment (Pack boxes with food items and ensure all items are accounted for)
- Organize orders (arrange finished orders at the front door for pick up)
If every student sells just 20 hoagies, or $100 worth of hoagies, soups, or coupons, we can reach our goal! Thank you for your continued support of our school and our students!
Order Forms are due back Wednesday February 12.

The top 3 families with the highest item count (turned in by 2/12/2020) will receive prizes. Hoagies, soups, cookies, trail mix, hoagie coupons, and Rita’s coupons all count towards your family’s total.
Grand Prize: $200 Visa Gift Card, one Dock Mennonite Academy Adult L T-Shirt, and one Dock Beanie Hat (approx. value $250)
2nd Place: $150 Visa Gift Card, one Dock Mennonite Academy Adult L T-Shirt, and one Dock Beanie Hat (approx. value $185)
3rd Place: One Dock Mennonite Academy Sweatshirt, one Dock Mennonite Academy Water Bottle, one Dock Mennonite Academy Adult L T-Shirt, and one Dock Beanie Hat. (approx. value $75)

Our signature hoagies have been a tradition for many years. You can get involved in this fundraiser by selling hoagies, making hoagies, and delivering hoagies!
Join us Wednesday, March 4, 2020 on the “hoagie assembly line” and meet some new friends, while making the best hoagies around!
